Project Description: As agri-food industry become more reliant on digitized data, the vulnerability of privacy violations has increased. It is a fact that agriculture technology reduces farming cost and increases crop yield. On the other side, the farmers must be aware of and understand the associated privacy violation risks to their data and ensure that companies entrusted to manage their data, including digital management tool and application developers and cloud service providers, develop adequate cybersecurity and breach response plans. According to Ontario Center of Excellence, there is no prosper action has been done yet to preserve data privacy in smart farming or more in digital agriculture ecosystem. Therefore, this issue motivates us to start a comprehensive market validation for smart farming data privacy opportunities.

The vital role of our market validation process will lead to design and develop a product for a B2C market which ensure the customers about reducing costs of data privacy violation in their digitalized field. By now most of farmers and other individuals who involve in smart farming ecosystem don’t care or not aware of consequence of their data privacy violation. Our solution will come as cloud service through a mobile channel to reduce costs of data privacy lost, violation and also lack data protection which are not consider in smart farming domain.
when vulnerabilities and outages of continuity become reality, the food production processes and geographic distribution of the products will show to have a great level of resilience due to the vast networks of the food supply chain. Ontario is a prominent province in agriculture Canada. Our solution can cause a huge reduction on risks of data privacy violations which leads to cut indirect costs such as lawsuit of farming.

In our product, we combine digital innovation and transformation within acceptable risks. To cope with vulnerabilities and threats, multiple technical solutions or standards help to mitigate threats and risks. We provide a safe infrastructure in order to protect smart farming data. The global market size for agricultural robots was $817 million in 2013 and is expected to reach $16.3 billion by 2020. By growing market size, our solution increases because data lost in such a huge market size can have a catastrophic impact on government and companies.
